Interning at Graduate Fashion Week 2017

Helloooo everyone! I know I haven’t posted on here in the longest time – I apologise profusely – the overwhelming busyness of end of year deadlines and a bunch of other things took hold and I had to give this a backseat for a while. But – fear not – I am back! With lots of exciting ideas for upcoming posts, so get ready. Moving on, let’s get to the point of the post!

This week I worked as Graduate Fashion Week within the digital team as their social media intern. My job role consisted of solely running the twitter and Facebook accounts for GFW by myself (go and check them out to see everything that happened at the event!) I had the most incredible experience and I want to do it all over again right now! Due to covering the social media for both Twitter and Facebook I had to attend every single event that happened, even when there were two at the same time. I saw every show, every live talk and was able to speak to some very special guests who attended, taking photos and writing about them on their social media.  The job involved long hours (and I mean SERIOUSLY long hours) arriving at the venue for 8:30am and not leaving until 9:30pm – but I’m definitely not complaining! If you have any questions about what I did just leave them in the comments!

(my favourite look from the whole event!)

The event was amazing! Make sure you get a ticket for next year – it’s full of truly inspiring and aspirational industry experts and graduates. I can’t wait for next year already!
